Mrs. Watts class helped us all learn a little more about Columbus Day this past Monday. They made some great looking ships and packets all filled with facts about Columbus Day! We all have been able to stop by their display and soak up all the information as we perused through the packets. Thanks Mrs. Watts and class for all the work you out into this display!

The book fair is HERE! I am excited about the selection of books that are in our fair this time. We have lots of GREAT books to chose from! Parents, don't forget that you are welcome to come and shop with your children this week. I have schedule Monday - Wednesday for parents to come and shop. If these days will not work for your schedule, please feel free to come any day and shop. The schedule just helps to break up the numbers so that there aren't so many at one time shopping. The schedule is:
Monday - 4th and 5th grade parents
Tuesday - 2nd and 3rd grade parents
Wednesday - Kindergarten and 1st grade parents.
The fair is open from 8:00-3:00 each day except Friday. I will be closing down the fair at lunch on Friday in order to get things put back together for classes the following week. I really encourage you to help your students make their selections using the Book Fair Flyer that came home this week. Write down the titles that you are "ok" with them purchasing and send that with your child to school. This helps tremendously!!!!! Also, don't forget the online shopping option. If you can't make it to the fair and would like to pick out some books for your child, please feel free to shop online. The items purchased online are shipped directly to the school and delivered to your child. Below is the link to follow for online shopping. I hope to see as many of you as possible this week in the library shopping with your children!
