TEAMWORK goes a long way! Hats off to our team! :)
Mrs. Glover has a way with getting a subject taught! She is so creative in how she teaches her students. Her Fifth Graders have been studying the plant and animal cell. Instead of just reading about it and looking at diagrams, she came up with a way to make it interesting and to be honest delicious! After learning the basics, her class was given the project of making Edible Cells. Now, isn't that something to talk about!
We had some very tasty cells brought in today. All the kids were marveling over how delicious they appear during Breakfast this morning. The conversation at the tables and in the halls today have been about nothing more than which Edible Cell would win the taste contest!
We are all proud of the students who completed this project! You all learned many great lessons by taking ownership of your learning experience here at school! Thanks Mrs. Glover for investing in these children's lives!
